I gotta say, he’s one of the most visually striking bosses we’ve ever faced. But in the end, we broke him, too.

The phoenix god went down and finally stayed down. And gave us a Band of Al’ar and a Talon of Al’ar. Sadly, no Ashes of Al’ar, but ah well. We’ll take the kill gladly.

It doesn’t seem very fair beating up blind guys, but, hey, he had purples, and he didn’t need them, and…

Ah, to hell with the rationalizing.

We mugged Leotheras, and came away with a Girdle of the Invulnerable, Gloves of the Vanquished Hero (which turned into Gloves of the Corruptor), and  Gloves of the Vanquished Champion, (which turned into Cataclysm Gauntlets).
