Well, we would like to think he’d be proud, but who knows (Golden Earring certainly would be). One of the things Mr. Serling did well was narrate a great performance. The last attempt of an eventful raid-week full of wipes just before the holiday season ended with a huge exclamation point. It was worthy of an episode in the legendary television series that shares it’s name. With Sartharion dropping one MT after another and the Twilight Drakes falling around him, we reigned in the Onyx Guardian and secured our place at the top of Alliance progression…for now. Ulduar awaits and we will be ready.

Merry Christmas, BRM! Enjoy your early present: Twilight Vanquisher (and grats Judith on the Reins of the Twilight Drake!)

P.S. How the hell is this achievement only worth 10 points?

A Sartharion screenshot worthy of posting. We decided to skip the wimpy one drake achievement and go for Sartharion, Vesperon, and Shadron. Very chaotic until you take care of those pesky Twilight Drakes, but definitely worth it and much more fun than the standard fight. For the record, we didn’t really want the eggs, just the purples.

Our second Alliance First in 3 days, and this one counts as a server 3rd (only 2 hours of tries? really?). The first batch of content is now complete and it’s time to move on to bigger, better, and more challenging achievements (like three drake Sartharion!). The Instance So Nice We Raided It Twice

After a week from starting 25 man raids (only about 3 nights of progression), Naxxramas-25 is clear (loot pinata no-drake Sartharion aside). Battling lag, the beginning of the holiday season, and the cruel grind to 80, BRM has achieved it’s first Alliance First instance clear. The only thing that remains before Ulduar in 3.1 is the Blue Dragon Aspect Malygos.

Many many many props go out to those 8-5ers (and 7-7ers) that stuck around well after our usual raid end-time to score this guild first instance clear before the Tuesday reset. Onward to Naxx farm, raiding achievements, and soon…a Malygos kill shot.

Congrats again to everyone present for all of these guild firsts. Most of these bosses aren’t worthy of their own post, so I present our complete body of work (and a Malygos-10 kill). Also, recruitment is still open for ranged DPS: Hunters, Warlocks especially (and others!).
